ROOME ASSOCIATES is a Midlands based consultancy which advises on all aspects of the registration and protection of trade marks worldwide. 

The practice was founded by Ann Roome. Ann is a UK registered Trade Mark Attorney, a Member of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys, (the UK professional body dedicated to the protection of trademarks), an Authorised Representative before the Community Trade Mark Office and a Member of the European Communities Trade Mark Association. 

Ann has extensive experience in private practice advising clients on how to obtain and protect their trade mark rights. Past experience includes handling the trade mark requirements and portfolios of multinational corporations, SMEs, owner managed companies, start ups and individuals. 

Particular areas of interest are advising on distinctiveness issues, devising global filing programmes, handling contentious proceedings at the Community Trade Mark Office, co-existence agreements and dispute resolution..
